Introducing our new analytics dashboard, designed to give you a deeper and more comprehensive view of how customers are engaging with your video.

Reach new insights into your audience with expanded filtering capabilities. You can now filter by new categories, aggregating different storyboards into one report, adjust statistic time to a relevant time zone and so much more!

Filtering

First things first, all data inquiries should start by selecting a date range, and by default all storyboards will be automatically included. Once done, you can decide to dig deeper with both basic and advance filtering options.

Basic filtering

Basic filtering allows you to view the data for multiple storyboard at once. So you as the user can select a few storyboards to include in one report and Idomoo will aggregate the statistics for you.

We see this as a great way to view the overall results of a campaign that includes multiple storyboards because of languages or different aspect ratio outputs.

Advance filtering

With Advance filtering you can drill down into your data by filtering statistics by one or more category. This powerful new features allows you to compare specific audiences, and get information down to the individual scene level.

Advanced filtering is available after the primary selection of dates and storyboard and includes the below categories.

Categories:

  •  STATS ID: Select one or more stats ID to distinguish between batches or group of API call that were done

  • DEVICE / PLATFORM: Know where the video is played. This data can drive decision as which video format should be used  and how long the video should be.

  • COUNTRY / REGION: Know your audience,  where they are watching and where the video works better.

  • CTA: Back engineer by call to action clicks how the video as total worked.

  • TAGS: Custom tags that are sent by users to identify an audience etc. Currently tags are available only when videos are generated using storyboard API

  • Scenes (Filtering by scenes) for A/B testing, for improving creative and in general to know what work best.

All filters can include one or more selections inside of it.

If more than one filter was selected inside the category, the returned data will contain the audience that exist in all categories (relevant for CTA, TAGS and Scenes -  i.e. all users that clicked both on CTA1 and CTA2)

Additional Graphs

Overview Summary

A general funnel that includes videos rendered, Landing Page visits, Views and CTA clicks.  Please note: All the data shown is in total numbers.

Views by region

An additional map view that will replace our older city graph and include regions that were previously unsupported.  At the bottom of both the regional and country graph user will see the top 20 regions or countries that videos were viewed from.

Depending on the country a region can include major cities, states or county where applicable.

View Progress: By unique users and all users

This new graph includes additional information on audience view progress. The new unique view progress will be shown in light gray and represents the total views, with the best unique view progressbeing represented in black.

What’s the difference between unique view progress and best unique view progress?  If an end user watches a video 4 times and completed 60%,80%,40% and 100%, all 4 of those unique views will be represented in light gray as part of the total view number. For best unique view, represented in black, only the best one, in this case 100% will be included.

Timezone setting

Time zone is automatic detached and analytics data is updated according to this time zone. Note that this is not reflected on reports, all reports will be generated at 8:00AM GMT (UTC)

Raw data reports

The new raw data reports are now more informative than ever.

Instead of 1 excel file with 2 different tabs we have split them into 2 separate reports, a Views Report and an Engagement Report. Both will be generated in a CSV file format and you can find details on the content of each below.

Views report

Similar to the existing report, the Views report will show all raw data fields that we have. Each row represents a single view, with the following fields:

  • "Video Link" - full video link with extension

  • "Video Duration"

  • "Video File Name" - video link without extension

  • "Storyboard ID"

  • "Statistic ID"

  • "Year","Month","Day","Hour","Minute","Second"

  • "OS","Browser","Platform"

  • "Location Country","Location City","Location State"

  • "Engagement %" - Max engagement of this view

  • "Tags" - if applicable, the relevant ones for the specific video

Engagement report

This is a summary report, giving you the bottom line of what a marketer wants to see. Each line represents a video rendered in the given time frame and includes the below fields:

  • "Video Link" - full video link with extension

  • "Video File Name" - video link without extension

  • "Storyboard ID"

  • "Statistic ID"

  • "Total Views" - how much time this video been watched in the given time frame

  • "Max Engagement %" - the highest engagement between the different views

Reports scheduling

Reports can be sent on a daily basis, every day at 8:00 AM UTC time ; on a weekly basis, every Monday at 8:00 AM UTC time or on a monthly basis, the first day of the month at 8:00 AM UTC time.

Clarification

The analytics system is a near-real-time system by design.
The biggest the amount of data is, the longest it takes to digest and prepare it for later queries.
This is how most of the analytics systems work.
