Instead of 1 excel file with 2 different tabs we have split them into 2 separate reports, a Views Report and an Engagement Report. Both will be generated in a CSV file format and you can find details on the content of each below. 

Views report 

Views report show all raw data fields that we have:

  • "Video Link" - full video link with extension 

  • "Video Duration" 

  • "Video File Name" - video link without extension 

  • "Storyboard ID"

  • "Statistic ID"

  • "Year","Month","Day","Hour","Minute","Second"

  • "OS","Browser","Platform"

  • "Location Country","Location City","Location State"

  • "Engagement %" - Max engagement of this view

  • "Tags" - if applicable, the relevant ones for the specific video

Engagement report

This is a summary report, giving you the bottom line of what a marketer wants to see. Each line represents a video rendered in the given time frame and includes the below fields: 

  • "Video Link" - full video link with extension

  • "Video File Name" - video link without extension 

  • "Storyboard ID" 

  • "Statistic ID"

  • "Total Views" - how much time this video been watched in the given time frame  

  • "Max Engagement %" - the highest engagement between the different views 

  • "Buttons Clicks" - which button has been clicked and how many times 

  • "Tags"- if applicable, the relevant ones for the specific video


Things you can learn from the reports :

  1. Number of unique video views by day - summarize the number of the unique rows of 'Hash ID' column. In the example above there are 3 unique views on Feb, 8th.
  2. Number of total views by day - summarize the number on 'Number of views' column. In the example above there are 6 total views on Feb, 8th.
  3. Views by devices . In the example above the views were made 4 times from an OSX device and once from an iOS device, using the Chrome browser once, the Firefox once and Safari in the remaining 3 times.
  4. Views by hour of the day (GMT time)- In the example above the views were made at 9 am , 14 pm , 15 pm and 16 pm.
  5. Views by location - In the example above the views were made from Madrid, Spain and one from Maidstone, England


Reports scheduling 

Reports can be sent on a daily basis, every day at 8:00 AM UTC time ; on a weekly basis, every Monday at 8:00 AM UTC time or on a monthly basis, the first day of the month at 8:00 AM UTC time or Immediately.
