Getting Started with Lucas in Claude
Lucas is available directly inside Claude — no switching tabs, no separate login. Connect once, and create videos by describing what you want in plain language.
Step 1: Connect Lucas to Claude
Location: Claude → Customize → Connectors
- Open Claude (web, desktop, or mobile)
- Click Customize (bottom-left of the chat)
- Go to Connectors
- Find Lucas and click Connect
- Authenticate with your Lucas account
That's it. Lucas is now available inside every Claude conversation.
Step 2: Use Claude as You Normally Would
Lucas doesn't change how you use Claude. Research a topic, ask questions, brainstorm ideas — and when you're ready to turn something into a video, just say so. Everything in the conversation is already context.
A few examples of how this flows naturally:
"What are the most common reasons new employees struggle in their first 90 days?" (Claude answers with research and insights) "Great — make a 60-second onboarding video based on that."
"Help me write a compelling pitch for our Q3 product launch." (Claude drafts the messaging) "Now turn that into a video."
You don't re-explain. You don't paste anything. Claude already knows what you were discussing — Lucas just acts on it.

Q: Is the video stored in Lucas or in Claude? A: Videos are rendered and stored in your Lucas account. Claude is just the interface you use to create and manage them.
Q: Can I share the video link with a colleague? A: Yes. Every video has a direct URL you can share immediately — even before rendering is complete.
Q: What happens if I close the chat mid-generation? A: Nothing. Rendering happens on Lucas servers. Open a new chat, ask "is my video ready?", and Claude will check the status for you.
