Touch-Up makes it easy to fine-tune your AI videos to perfection. With intuitive tools, you can customize each scene, manage background music, and preview your video before publishing. Here’s a step-by-step guide to navigating and editing your AI video in Touch-Up.

Main navigation bar and timeline

The main navigation bar on the left-hand side provides two key options:

  1. Scenes - Access and edit all the scenes in your video. This option allows you to:
    • Navigate between scenes using the timeline at the bottom of the interface.
    • Customize scene details, including text, media, and narration (see the Customizing Scenes and Narration section below).
  2. Music - Quickly access options to manage the background music that plays throughout your video (see Managing Music for details).

The timeline at the bottom of the interface displays all scenes in your video sequentially. Use it to:

  • Select a Scene: Click on a scene thumbnail to open its details in the editing area.
  • View Sequence: Ensure smooth transitions between scenes as you review their order.

Customizing scenes and narration

Click on the scene you want to edit directly from the timeline at the bottom of the interface. Once selected, the scene details will appear, allowing you to make specific edits.

  1. Edit Texts - Update the text for each scene to ensure your video conveys the right message. Simply click on the text field, type your updated text, and see the changes reflected in real time.
  2. Change Media - Replace visuals in any scene to better align with your video’s content. Choose from available options:
    • My Media: Select visuals you’ve already uploaded to the workspace you’re working in.
    • Getty Images: Browse a rich collection of stock images (if enabled).
    • Create Image: Generate visuals using AI-based tools (if available).
    • Upload New Media: If you don’t see what you need, click the Upload Media button to add your own image or video file.
    • Search: Use the search bar to quickly locate images within your workspace or knowledge base.
  3. Adjust Narration - Modify the script by editing the narration text. If needed, you can upload a custom audio narration to replace the default one, ensuring the tone and style match your audience.

Managing Music

Background music plays an essential role in setting the tone for your video. Use these tools to manage your music:

  1. Mute / Unmute - Turn the audio on or off with a single toggle to fit your video’s needs.
  2. View AI-Selected Track - See the background track automatically chosen by AI, tailored to your video’s theme and content.
  3. Change Music Track - Pick a different background track for your video. Use the Mood filter (e.g., Chill) to find a track that complements the tone of your message.
  4. Preview and Replace Tracks - Listen to the selected track before applying it to your video. If you want to make a change, simply click on another track to replace the existing one instantly.
  5. Revert to Initial Track- If you’re not satisfied with your changes, you can easily return to the initial track selected for your video.

Previewing and saving your work

Once you’ve made your edits, finalize your work using the Preview and Save options located at the top right of the interface.

  1. Preview Your Video - Before finalizing, click the Preview button to watch your video. This ensures all edits, including text, media, narration, and music, flow together seamlessly.
  2. Save Options - Click the Savemenu to access two options:
    1.  Save - Use the Save button to store your changes and ensure your work is up to date. This is helpful if you want to come back and continue editing later. This action will overwrite the existing video in your workspace.
    2. Save As New Version - If you’re making significant changes and want to keep the original version intact, use the Save As option to create a duplicate version of your video. This is particularly useful for testing alternative content ideas or versions.
