Total running time: 2:51
Personalized Videos are created from a Storyboard. A Storyboard contains a sequence of scenes and business rules for selecting scenes. Storyboards are built using Storybuilder. In Storybuilder you select how your data changes the video, be it by choosing a scene, displaying that text (or manipulated text) on the screen, using that data to choose an image, or converting the data to audio using text to speech.
Functionality of Storybuilder
Storybuilder is capable of doing the following:
- Selecting video scenes from any in your scene libraries.
- Change values of placeholders or mark placeholders as dynamic in order to connect the placeholders to data.
- Set viewing conditions for a scene by using scene logic. For example: A scene should be viewed only if the user is a gold customer.
- Add audio to a scene or a soundtrack to the whole video.
How to create a new Storyboard
To create a new Storyboard, log into your Idomoo account and by default, the storyboard screen is displayed. If for some reason you do not see this screen, select the Menu icon on the left of the interface, and click on Storyboards.
Creating a new Storyboard is accomplished by clicking on the Create New Storyboard icon, found at the top left of the storyboards list.
You are then taken to an interface that allows you to choose from any of the Scene Libraries you can access.
To use the scenes from a Scene Library, click on the desired library (1) and available scenes appear on the right side of the interface. Add these scenes (2) to your Storyboard by dragging them to the left side of the interface (3).
If you wish to remove any of these scenes, click on the three dots on the scene's thumbnail and select Delete. From here, you can also duplicate, create a group or replace a scene.
You can also create a group from various scenes by dragging one on top of the other. This method can also be used to reorder the scenes, or groups of scenes.
