Idomoo Presenters (formerly known as Narrators) are the faces and voices of your automated video content. This feature allows you to choose from a diverse library of default talent or create bespoke presenters tailored to your brand’s specific identity.


The Idomoo Presenter Library

Every account includes 12 default presenters. These presenters are designed to represent a global audience, featuring:

  • Diverse Accents: A mix of en-US and en-GB voices.
  • Tone Profiles: Options ranging from "Smooth and Polished" to "Soft and Empathetic."
  • Immediate Availability: These are the standard options available in the Presenter dropdown during video creation.


Creating Custom Presenters for Your Brand

To ensure your videos are unique to your brand, you can define custom presenters in the Branding section:

  1. Navigate to Branding > Presenters.
  2. Click Create New Presenter.
  3. Voice Selection: Choose a voice from the provided Idomoo voice library.
  4. Avatar Creation: Generate a visual avatar by uploading an image, entering a descriptive text prompt, or a combination of both.
  5. Save: Once saved, this presenter will be available as a unique option for your brand’s videos.


Using Narration Only (No Avatar)

We understand that not every video requires a visual representative. Even if your account has avatars enabled, you can choose to output a video with audio only:

  • In the EAIV creation flow, simply deselect the avatar image.
  • The system will use the selected presenter's voice for the narration while omitting the visual avatar from the final render.

Q: What happened to "Narrators"?

A: We’ve evolved! Narrators are now called Presenters. This change reflects our move toward a more diverse, high-quality, and customizable library of on-screen talent.


Q: Are the 12 new presenters available to everyone?

A: Yes, the 12 new default voices are available to all accounts immediately. As noted above, the visual Avatar for these presenters will only appear if the Avatar feature is enabled for your specific account.


Q: How do I create a custom presenter for my brand?

A: If your account has branding permissions, navigate to Branding > Presenters. Click "Create new presenter" to choose a voice from our dropdown list. If your account has the Avatar feature enabled, you can also pair that voice with a visual identity using an image upload or text prompt.


Q: What are some examples of prompts I can use for custom avatars?

A: For accounts with the Avatar feature enabled, you can use prompts to transform a photo or create a new character from scratch:

  • Caricature Style: "Animate this person to make a friendly 3D caricature with expressive features."
  • Artistic/Vector: "A flat-design vector illustration of a friendly customer service representative."
  • Demographic Focus: "A dignified, silver-haired man in his late 60s with a warm, trustworthy expression."

Q: What happens to videos I have already created using the old narrators?

A: Nothing! Any videos you have already rendered and finalized using the legacy narrator styles will remain exactly as they are.


Q: Can I still edit an existing video that uses an old narrator?

A: Yes. If you have a current project using a legacy narrator, you can still edit and re-generate that video. The original narrator will continue to work as long as it remains selected. You only move to the new system if you manually choose to switch to a new Presenter or start a brand-new project.


Q: If I change an old video to a new Presenter, can I go back to the old one?

A: No. Once you switch an existing project from a legacy narrator to one of the 12 new Presenters, the old narrator will no longer be available in the selection list.


Q: I want to use a presenter's voice but I don't want the avatar to appear in my video. Is that possible?

A: Yes. Within the EAIV creation flow, you can deselect the avatar image. This allows you to create a video using only the professional narration while keeping the visual screen clear of an avatar.
