Presentation to Video turns a PowerPoint deck into a narrated AI video — each slide becomes a scene, and your speaker notes become the narration.

Accessing Presentation to Video

Location: You can start a presentation-to-video conversion from a few places — they all lead to the same place:

  • The PPT to Video quick action on your Studio workspace
  • The PPT to Video option on the home page
  • The PPT tab under "What is your source?" if you open Enterprise AI Video directly

Uploading Your Presentation

  1. Click Upload ppt file.
  2. Lucas validates and extracts your slides. Once done, your file appears listed below the upload zone.
  3. Choose a Presenter and Style (on the right side of the flow).
  4. Click Create Video.

Note: Only .pptx files are supported (PowerPoint 2007 or later), up to 50MB. Older .ppt files are rejected — save your file as .pptx first.

How Lucas Creates Your Video

Lucas extracts all information from your presentation:

  • Each slide is converted into an image.
  • Speaker notes become the narrator script, if they exist.
  • Slide order remains the same.
  • Hidden slides won't be included.
  • Video output is currently limited to 16:9 format.

Slides without speaker notes play as a short silent scene rather than being skipped.

Note: If you select an avatar as your presenter, Lucas skips the avatar on any silent (no-notes) scene, and follows Lucas's usual convention of showing the avatar at the beginning and end of the video.

Common Questions

Q: Can I use a .ppt file instead of .pptx? A: No — convert it to .pptx (PowerPoint 2007 or later) before uploading.

Q: What happens if none of my slides have speaker notes? A: Lucas still generates the video — it plays as a silent slideshow.

Q: Can I choose a different aspect ratio, like 9:16? A: Not currently — Presentation to Video is limited to 16:9 output for now.

Q: Is there a slide limit? A: No slide-count limit, but larger presentations can take longer to process.

Q: Can I edit the script before the video generates? A: No — Presentation to Video generates directly from your slides and notes; there's no script preview step. Edit your speaker notes in PowerPoint beforehand, or edit the finished video afterward.

Q: What if my presentation has hidden slides? A: They're excluded automatically — only visible slides become scenes.
